This week, Bare Oaks is hosting the Fifth Annual Canadian Naturist Festival. It will takes place August 7th to 10th. The festival, a celebration of naturist life, is drawing people from as far away as British Columbia and California. It will be a very busy week! Every single campsite has been booked. But there is still room to squeeze in a tent or two.
*** Full meal service is available during the festival. ***
The FCN & FQN are offering Bare Oaks Family Naturist Park members the benefit of a rock-bottom registration fee of only $10 for the entire festival!!!
The festival will offer over 30 presentations, discussions, music, games, and hands-on sessions. Activities are planned for children, both youngsters and teens. Special guests include massage/yoga experts and the perennial favourite entertainer, the acrobat/juggler/clown/fire-breather Michel Goulet. Click here for the schedule.
Early on August 7, a special bus will leave Bare Oaks for the clothing-optional Hanlan’s Beach in Toronto. Riders (by reservation only) are invited to ride without clothes (but with a towel at least). Of course, everyone is invited to join us on the beach even if they “missed the bus”!
Prizes to be handed out at the festival include books, Tilley hats, Harry Potter bedspreads, and the grand one: a week at Hidden Beach resort in Mexico!
On August 9, the official announcement will be made of the winners of two journalism prizes, awarded for the best articles appearing in Canada in 2007 (one in English, one in French) that discuss naturism in non-naturist publications.
