As many people have noticed, the water in the pool in August was unusually cold. A leak in a pipe meant that we were unable to use the solar heating system. Because the leak was located below the concrete deck, a repair would have meant rendering the pool inaccessible for the remainder of the season. Rather than do that, we opted to keep it open without heat. Now that Labour Day has come and gone, it is time for us do make repairs. As such, the pool will be closing for the season effective Monday, September 9th. We apologize for this premature closing. But with theRead More →

You can now tour around Bare Oaks Family Naturist Park thanks to Google’s Streetview. In May of this year, we hired Ilyse Krivel,  a Trusted Photographer for Google Business Photos, to photograph a tour of our property. The resulting tour can be found through Google Maps or by clicking on the “see inside” image that shows up on the right-hand side when you search for “Bare Oaks” in Google. You won’t see any nude people in the tour. In fact, you won’t see any people at all. Google’s rules require the photographer to avoid people as much as possible. So we picked a cold weekday inRead More →

Dear Anonymous, Since you didn’t leave any contact information, this is the only way we can respond to your concerns. Thank you for contacting Bare Oaks Family Naturist Park. As you correctly pointed out, we did have a clothing-optional area during our volleyball tournament but you also found that option to be disagreeable. You should be aware that this is an unusual compromiseRead More →
