Bare Oaks
there exists a place on earth
not unlike the garden of Eden
its abundant greenery and exotic wonders
release the imagination
ignite free thought
I come here to escape
layers slip away
I stand bare
feel no shame
stripping insecurity
whipping out self adoration
flaunting a massive character
expose truth
embrace lumps, bumps, skin, hair
know
wholeness
and beauty
outside these confines
attractiveness is a layered mask
hiding reality
they have eaten rancid fruit
gained neither knowledge nor power
and paradise has been lost
